About Family Storage
Family Storage is a place to keep your family's records and family tree, and to share them with your family. Creating a family tree and storing photos, memories and health records are all free. The service is run by Tradition Blue Co., Ltd., a company specializing in family-tree research and creation that has also assisted in producing NHK "Family History" (TV program).
When Can You Use It?
"I know my grandparents' names, but nothing before them." "There is no one left to ask who the people in the album are." "I want to share our family records with my brother and sister who live far away." — Family Storage was born from feelings like these. It is used by people who face their family's records when clearing out the family home or dealing with an inheritance, people who want to pass family history on to their children and grandchildren, and people who want to trace their ancestors' roots.

* With the free service, you can create a Family Map of up to four generations. When you use Family Research, the limit is lifted for that lineage.

You can sign up with an email address, Google or LINE. It takes just a few minutes.

Adding Family Members to the Family Map
First set up your own card, then add the people closest to you: your parents, spouse, brothers and sisters, and children.

Add records and photos
Names and dates of birth alone are enough to make a family tree. Please add photos and memories little by little as you learn them.
For Your Peace of Mind
Important information such as names, name readings, addresses and phone numbers is stored encrypted. Your family tree and records are not shown to anyone other than the family members you invite. The AI Storyteller creates its answers inside our own servers, without sending your family's records to outside AI services.
About Our Company
Family Storage is planned and operated by Tradition Blue Co., Ltd. (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; founded 2007). We specialize in family-tree research and creation, and since 2012 we have also assisted in producing the NHK program "Family History." This service was born from a problem we saw again and again in our family-tree work: "precious records become scattered and lost before anyone notices."
On September 14, 2026, we completely renewed the service, centered on the Family Map. Not a single existing feature has been lost, and the records you have already registered can be used just as they are.
