The Company respects the privacy of its customers and recognizes it as important. We hereby declare our policy that, when customers provide us with personal information, we will handle it with care and manage it appropriately.

With respect to customers' personal information used by the Company in the course of its business, we will comply with laws and regulations concerning the protection of personal information, other related laws and regulations, and sound social norms. So as not to lose the trust of our customers, we will establish voluntary rules and systems, set out the following privacy policy, and strive to thoroughly protect the personal information entrusted to us by our customers.

1. The Company will obtain customers' personal information by proper and fair means and will never obtain it by unlawful methods. Nor will we handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use without the consent of the individual to whom the information pertains. Even where we acquire personal information as a result of a merger or for any other reason, we will not handle it beyond the scope of the purpose of use prior to succession without first obtaining the individual's consent. However, this does not apply in the following cases.
   • (1) Where required by laws and regulations
   • (2) Where it is necessary for the protection of the life, body or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent
   • (3) Where it is especially necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound upbringing of children and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent
   • (4) Where it is necessary to cooperate with a national government agency, a local government, or a person entrusted by either of them in carrying out affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the individual's consent is likely to impede the performance of such affairs
2. To prevent the loss, destruction, alteration, leakage, etc. of customers' personal information, the Company will put the necessary systems in place and take appropriate information security measures, including measures against unauthorized access and computer viruses.
3. When the Company obtains personal information indirectly, we will confirm whether the provider obtained that personal information properly from the individual concerned.
4. After confirming that a customer has the right to disclosure, correction, suspension of use, deletion, etc. of their own personal information, the Company will respond to such requests from the customer.
5. The Company will not provide customers' personal information to any third party other than for outsourced work without the customer's consent. However, where disclosure is required by laws and regulations, or where disclosure is requested by a public authority such as a court or the police, we may disclose personal information without the customer's consent.
6. The Company establishes the following principles for the specific collection and handling of personal information.
   • (1) Personal information shall be used only by persons authorized for specific duties within the scope of the purpose of collection, and only to the extent necessary for the performance of those duties
   • (2) We will not engage in any act that leaks personal information, such as using personal information for purposes other than those intended
   • (3) We will not disclose personal information obtained in the course of business to third parties without good reason, nor use it for improper purposes. The same applies after a person leaves the position related to such duties, and we will take the necessary measures
   • (4) Documents and information entrusted to us for Family Research, unused letters of authorization and the like will be returned to the customer as soon as the research is completed, and we will not engage in any act that leaks personal information
7. We may revise this "Privacy Policy." In that case, we will notify you of all revisions.
