Family Storage Has Been Fully Renewed and Officially Launched Today

Thank you very much for always using Family Storage.

Today, September 14, 2026, Family Storage has been fully renewed and officially launched. We made many fine adjustments based on the feedback we received during the beta test that began on August 28. We sincerely thank all the members who helped us.

What's New

• Family Map — Add family members with the four buttons around each card, and move things with your fingertip on a smartphone. If you register maiden names, you can switch to and trace your mother's or wife's family as "the ○○ family"
• Printing / PDF — Three ways to print: fit on one A4 sheet, print at full size split across A4 sheets, or print on one large sheet, plus "ancestors only" printing
• Records for each person — From self-introductions, education and work history, marriage and health records to memories by age, graves and a photo gallery
• Anniversary reminders — Birthdays, death anniversaries and wedding anniversaries are shown automatically, and you can choose when and how you receive reminders. You can also link with Google Calendar and other calendars
• AI Storyteller — A new feature that answers like a storyteller, based on your family's records

None of the previous features have been lost. The family trees and family records you have already registered can be used just as they are.

Still Free to Use

Creating family trees and keeping your family's records remain free. The only paid service is "Family Research," in which specialists trace your ancestors through family registers.

Starting a How-To Series

So that even first-time users can get started without confusion, from today we will publish the nine-part series "How to Use Family Storage" every day at 10:00 a.m. We will guide you step by step, from signing up to the Family Map, printing, anniversaries, inviting your family, the AI Storyteller and applying for Family Research.
